As a native of Canada and with the passing of my own mother when I was young, I am all too aware of how important it is to have a good network of support from family and friends – online and offline! I’ve often leaned on the MummyPages community for advice on everything from toilet training to toddler tooth brushing.”
“My blog posts will be all about my ups and downs as I try to be the best mum I can be, which as we all know requires experience, endless patience, being able to learn from your mistakes and to laugh at the mayhem.”
Commenting on the announcement, Laura Haugh, Mum-in-Residence for MummyPages said:
“We are delighted that Alison has joined our MummyPages blogger community, putting aside her headphones to collect some of her thoughts on parenting. Alison’s first blog post is especially touching and a lovely tribute to her own mum.”
“Everyone who listens to Alison’s popular Saturday morning show on TodayFM will know that Alison already has a great rapport with mums. She can easily relate to the concerns of modern day mums and is very much aware of the issues affecting families in Ireland.”

During that time the show, with a little help from a man named Mario Rosenstock and Gift Grub, became the biggest Breakfast Show in the country.

Alison became a full-time presenter for TodayFM in 2008, she presented The Early Morning Breakfast show before going on Maternity leave and returned to present Saturday Breakfast.
